Chinese Medical Palmistry

Based on the premise that every part of the body can provide indications to the health of the whole individual, this book explains the diagnostic art of palmistry and fingernail analysis. It discusses the traditional Five Phase system of Chinese medical palmistry, based on an ancient Mesopotamian practice, which covers the medical indications for all the basic hand and fingernail shapes, skin colors, mounds, and lines. The second system covered is based in modern China and uses the eight trigrams of the I Ching. Depending on the placements of different marks (line, clouds, spots, etc.), one can diagnose specific medical conditions such as gallbladder stones, cancer, heart disease, and ulcers.
